A lways seen as a conservative skater, Andy Mac has had huge success with that tactic, including earning 16 XG medals to tie Tony Hawk for the most skateboard medals at XG. Andy has competed every year at XG, and 2006 was the first year Andy didn't medal since his first XG. Proving his desire during Big Air practice, he tore his MCL but skated the contest anyway, finishing 5th. A great representative, Andy does anti-drug speaking tours at schools around the country. He got into event management in 2007, raising money with a 'Grind for Life' event to erect the 2006 XG Vert ramp at the Mission Valley YMCA (Clairemont, CA). His new line of complete skateboards 'Positiv' hit retail stores in 2007.
